He continues to help us persevere even though we are going through a very unthinkable personal circumstance right now. God continues to help us touch lives in the midst of the storm.
I just found this verse the other day while looking for something to help with the call I just received from Curtis. He got wrote up for a wrong doing for the first time after sitting in county jail for 15 months and now prison for another 15 months. Why, what did you do Curtis? He said, "I had a dryer sheet in the front of my vent to make the cell smell good." "Did you know you weren't suppose to do that?" I asked. "No, but I do now." He answered. I guess it was a fire hazard.
The same day I received a phone call from an inmate that had gotten out and spent time with him in prison and he said, "I just called to tell you your son is a "proverbial ray of sunshine in that place." So even though Curtis' cell can't give off fragrance or aroma his character can!
Thank you God for using my son to give off aroma of Christ in a very dark place to those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Praying for your son.
Amen Cathy! It can't be easy having a son in prison, but you know what? All diamonds are formed in the darkest of places.
Blessings to you, this WFW.
I put on perfume as I went out to take devotions today but what my heart was asking was that it would be His fragrance that people were aware of.
His beauty they would see and above all His voice they would hear.
Lovely end to my day to read that.
nothing is impossible with God. your situation isn't easy but God sees and He knows your situation. He has great plans for you and your family. He has great plans for your son. i believe so in my heart.
praying for you, cathy.
Cathy...
Your transparency is beautiful and God does amazing things with souls when He has our attention...praying along with you for your son...praying God gets ahold of him...there is no telling what God has planned.
